Drilling Materials Supervisor

Drilling Materials Supervisor - Wintershall Libya B.V.

The Drilling Materials Supervisor has to ensure availability and proper storage of all Wintershall drilling and completion equipment and the maintenance of tools related to these activities. Main responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

• Record in SAP all material transactions accurately in order to ensure that records are complete and in compliance with the procedures.
• Continuously compare pipe yard inventory with records in SAP
• Liaise with Materials Department to ensure that Drilling and Well Services materials are stored properly and maintained in a readily available condition.
• Ensure that any trucks leaving the plant with Drilling and Well Services materials are loaded in such a way that they are in line with Wintershall's HSE guidelines
• Coordinate the assembly of Liner hangers to running tools and ensure proper under cover storage after make up before transfer to the field.
• Maintain a stock of wellhead equipment for the next two wells in a state of observable readiness in the Well Services Workshop, and that the equipment has been completely inspected and tested.
• Coordinate the transport of well completion equipment for make up and pressure testing and delivery to the rig location
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Libyan National.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in relation to drilling and well services activities with a good knowledge of tools in relation to these activities and the proper handling thereof.
• Have the knowledge, skill and experience to work unsupervised maintaining the equipment and inventory.
• Be able to work with computerized materials and accounting system.
• Be in possession of a forklift/wheel loader operating certificate.
• Posses a valid International recognized driver’s licence.
• Excellent English language and communication skills
• Computer skills in particular (Excel, Word, SAP).
